NAHANI REIMANN
Project Proposal
For the final integrating activity project, I have chosen to make myself into a doll and then photograph the doll in different places which make me happy. My aim for this project is to expand my knowledge of different textiles and mediums to create a self portrait in a more unconventional way. The theme of identity that the group chose means that the project is a personal one, this is why I have chosen to create the doll which represents me physically, but also photograph it in different places which give me happiness. I have recently been learning to knit and am interested in working with different materials and fabrics like this for the first time.
I will have to start by gathering the tools and materials I will need to complete the project and therefore I will be dedicating the first week to listing and then gathering these things. Some of these items include fabric for the doll and her clothing, yarn, thread, an embroidery needle, stuffing, buttons, sewing needle.
